This is very very close to my final design.
Think of an American version of the Bentley Continental GT.

Wow. Very cool. Can I see more angles?

Thanks! I haven't sketched much further, at least not with this quality, but I have a rough idea on how the front and back are going to look. I'm planning on making a 3D model of it out of styrofoam and paper.
The front will have a grille similar to Ford's shark mouth, only larger and wider with Packard's classic " ox yoke " shape gracing the top instead of a straight line.
The rear deck lid will also have the ox yoke shape.

I'm sure it's going to be amazing. I look forward to seeing the finished product.

Awesome work! It definitely looks like a Bentley / Rolls competitor, and has the presence I think you are going for. The front and rear look like they will be very impressive as well, and it feels like a really nice cohesive design.
If I had one criticism though, I know the current trend is for higher belt lines, but I feel as if the belt line is a bit too high on your design. I feel like it'd be hard to see out the rear a bit, without sitting so high up that you'd be hitting the roof.
Other than that, this looks great. I'm definitely going to be following it to see the finished product.

Thanks, I wasn't quite aiming for Rolls though (maybe between Mercedes-Benz and Bentley). Packard was a fancy car back in the day, but it wasn't as fancy as the aforementioned. One could put it in the Between Buick and Cadillac slot.
I know it's high, but the front and rear windows actually go in a bit when seen from the front or rear. I was shamelessly following modern trends, but I'm trying to make this realistic. It's a bit of an alternate history project.
Glad to hear! It'll probably be a couple of weeks before it's finished, though.

You're welcome.

Before you try to create a styrofoam or clay model, contact Dan Palatnik. He does 3D digital renderings and his rates are very reasonable. He can help you develop the initial idea. Here's his blog: http://garagemdigital.blogspot.com/ Here is his rendering of the 1955 Chrysler Falcon - a car that was never produced: http://garagemdigital.blogspot.com/2013/01/1955-c… Notice how similar it looks to the 2014 Chrysler 300?

Interesting, I think I'm trying to do it by myself though.
Yes, I've noticed the new 300 takes design cues from mid-to-late '50s Chryslers. Really a masterful design.
